Privacy policy

This policy explains what information ADVERTLY.IO (“we”) collects through ADVERTLY, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. ADVERTLY is used by businesses (“customers”) to keep in touch with their own clients; for the client information a customer adds, the customer decides how it is used and we process it on their behalf.

What we collect

• Your account: name, email address, password (stored only as a one-way hash), business name, and the settings you choose.
• Your clients’ information: contacts, notes, messages, files and other records you add or import, or that arrive through your forms, booking links and website chat.
• Connected accounts: when you connect Facebook, Instagram, Google or another service, we receive an access token and the basic page or profile details needed to post and to read results on your behalf. Tokens are encrypted before they are stored and are never shown to anyone.
• Usage and logs: what was sent, published or changed and when, for your audit trail and to keep the service secure.
• Billing: your plan and invoices. Card details are handled by the payment provider and never reach us.

How we use it

• To provide the service you asked for: sending your emails and messages, publishing your posts when you approve them, booking your meetings, and showing your reports.
• To let the AI assistant prepare drafts, replies and plans for you. Nothing is sent or published without your approval or the autopilot you switched on.
• To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your clients’ information to advertise to them or to anyone else.

Who we share it with

Only with the providers that make the service work, each only for its part:

• AI providers (such as OpenAI and Google) to write and analyse text and create images and video;
• email and WhatsApp providers to deliver your messages;
• Meta (Facebook, Instagram), Google and the other services you connect, to act on the accounts you connected;
• payment providers to take payments; and our hosting provider.

Cookies

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies.

Security and retention

Each business’s data is kept separate from every other’s; connections are encrypted in transit, and secrets are encrypted at rest. We keep your data while your account is open. After you close it, or ask us to delete it, we delete it within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep records such as invoices.

Your choices and rights

You can see, correct, export and delete your information in the app, disconnect any connected account at any time, and ask us to delete your account. Your clients can unsubscribe from emails and reply STOP to texts. See how to delete your data.
